Amy Stern, LCSW

After 20+ years of not-for-profit social work experience with children, adolescents, adults and elders, primarily in clients' homes, Amy wished to slow down in order to even more fully enjoy collaboration with clients.  Thus, she joined Resolve Psychotherapy, LLC in order to manage her own schedule and see adults, elders and their families privately.

In her mind, perhaps as important as her work experience, Amy has personally benefitted greatly from counseling, and continues to seek out other personal and professional growth opportunities.

Amy considers herself to be compassionate; respectful; intellectually curious; committed to: therapeutic practice informed by research and referrals to community resources; warm; professional; and humorous. 







Meredith Albert, LCSW

Psychotherapy is Meredith's second career.  She comes from a background in Business ownership and management, which gives her an action oriented approach in her work with clients.  Goals related to where the client wants to be are created collaboratively, and issues (conscious and unconsious) preventing a client from moving forward are also identified. 

Philosophically, Meredith believes that, most of the time, individuals have the answers to their own questions, if they can settle their competing thoughts ("shoulds", judgments, etc.) long enough to uncover what they truly want for themselves. Lining up head, heart and intuition is perceived as the ultimate goal.
